Temp-to-Hire position
$ 20.00 / hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 04:30pm)
- Perform MIG, Flux Core (FCAW), Stick (SMAW), or TIG welding based on project requirements.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols.
- Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, grinding, beveling, and fitting metal components.
- Assemble and tack-weld parts before final welding.
- Learn proper welding procedures and techniques under the guidance of experienced welders.
- Inspect welds for quality and make corrections as needed.
- Operate grinders, torches, saws, and other fabrication equipment.
- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of structural steel and metal products.
- Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and organized.
Ability to produce quality welds and pass a weld test.
3G welding certification is preferred but not required.
Ability to read a tape measure and interpret basic blueprints.
Willingness to learn advanced welding techniques and accept coaching.
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliable attendance.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
Comfortable working in a fabrication shop.
