JOB DESCRIPTION – Brewery Packaging Sanitation Technician Position Details

The Packaging Sanitation Technician will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the beverage packaging machinery with a goal to meet Good Brewing Practice (GBP's) standards. A successful candidate will be part of a small team that maintains equipment needed for efficient and reliable beverage packaging operations, as well as setting up the beverage packaging line for a rapid AM start up the following day.

Must be quality conscious, operate safely and have good communication skills with a potential to operate independently.

• Shift "A" will be Sunday to Wednesday
• Shift "B" will run Wednesday to Saturday
• This is a 10 hr. shift that typically runs 12:00 noon 10:00pm.

• Finalize the days packaging operations
• Assemble, disassemble, clean, and sanitize packaging equipment.
• Operate CIP systems for tanks, pipelines, and related equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on product-contact parts.
• Complete sanitation records accurately and on time.
• Maintain clean work areas and equipment surfaces.
• Conduct pre-operation checks before startup.
• Troubleshoot basic operating issues and support improvements.
• Collect samples for Quality Assurance testing.
• Follow SOPs, GMPs, food safety, and quality standards.
• Report food safety or quality concerns immediately.
• Set up the Packaging Line for the next day's operations.

• Age:
  Must be 21+ years of age.
• Experience:
  
  Previous experience in beverage packaging or high-speed food manufacturing is a plus.
• Technical Savvy:
  Understanding of pressurized systems, chemical safety, and automated production machinery.
• Leadership:
  Proven ability to coach others, give constructive feedback, ability to operate without direct supervision.
• Licensing:
  Forklift operation experience is required.
• Software:
  Proficiency in Excel and data entry for production logging.

• Active Production:
  Ability to stand, crouch, and move within a loud, fast-paced manufacturing environment for extended periods.
• Strength:
  Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs (maneuvering kegs) and perform repetitive movements.
• Conditions:
  Comfort working around water, steam, and cleaning chemicals in varying temperatures.

• Mechanical Aptitude:

• Sense of Urgency:
