Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are hiring a Vice President of Marketing to own the full customer acquisition lifecycle—from identity to brand and content strategy to demand generation and conversion optimization. Working as an integral partner to the CEO, you will architect how Troomi grows.

This is an onsite, hands-on executive leadership role responsible for building, leading, and optimizing a high-performance marketing and growth engine. Expect to be challenged, to make high-stakes decisions, and to directly influence how families discover, trust, and choose Troomi.

Responsibilities Own revenue growth
  • Take full ownership of top-line growth across all digital and channel-driven revenue streams.
  • Align marketing strategy tightly with sales performance, retention, and lifetime value.
  • Establish clear revenue forecasts, growth models, and accountability metrics.
Build and lead the marketing organization
  • Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing marketing team, establishing the most-effective mix of in-house talent and agency partners.
  • Create structure, clarity, and execution discipline across all marketing functions.
  • Set clear priorities and expectations—no chaos, no guesswork.
  • Lead a high-performance, purpose-driven culture.
Drive digital acquisition at scale
  • Own all online customer acquisition channels, including paid media, SEO, social, email, and website conversion.
  • Lead strategy for content marketing, blogs, storytelling, public relations, and educational campaigns that resonate with parents.
  • Continuously test and optimize to improve conversion rates and cost of acquisition.
  • Own channel and marketplace growth, including Amazon and other third-party marketplaces and partners.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new channels and partnerships, including traditional retail opportunities.
  • Ensure brand position integrity and messaging consistency across all platforms.
Shape brand and messaging
  • Evolve Troomi’s identity, brand positioning, voice, and narrative.
  • Establish messaging and marketing tactics that build Troomi as a movement, not just a product.
  • Guide creative direction across campaigns, product launches, and customer communications.
Operate with data and discipline
  • Establish clear KPIs and dashboards across marketing and revenue.
  • Make decisions grounded in data, not vibes.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Support.
Qualifications Required
  • 15+ years of marketing experience, including at least 5 years in executive roles.
  • Undergraduate degree in marketing, advertising, communications or public relations.
  • Proven success in building and leading marketing teams that drive measurable revenue growth.
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing, performance channels, content, lifecycle marketing, and conversion optimization.
  • Strong experience with online and channel-based sales models, including marketplaces.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a revenue number and deliver against it.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • The ability to drive a high-performance team that enjoys working together, is voraciously committed to creativity, and internalizes Troomi’s mission.
Strongly Preferred
  • Experience in telecommunications, consumer technology, or subscription-based products.
  • Experience in children’s technology, child health, digital safety, or family-focused products.
  • Track record of scaling a mission-driven brand without sacrificing trust or integrity.
  • Experience in marketing to women.
Additional Information

This role isn’t about polishing a brand or just maintaining the status quo. It’s about responsibly scaling a company that families trust with their children. And it’s about establishing a palpable movement to protect childhood.

At Troomi, you will:

  • Lead growth at a company with a clear mission and real impact.
  • Have executive-level ownership, influence, and accountability.
  • Work alongside leaders who value clarity, honesty, and execution.
  • Build something meaningful—and make it scale.

If you know how to build, lead, and scale marketing and revenue engines—and only if you feel passionately about our mission to protect childhood for 1 million kids—we would like to meet you.
