Senior Marketing Specialist – Tech Alliances Marketing
At SailPoint, our ecosystem of partners plays an integral role in helping customers adopt world‑class identity solutions that protect and govern their enterprise in the AI‑era. As the Senior Marketing Specialist, you will lead marketing for SailPoint solutions with some of the largest technology brands on the planet within our Technology Alliance partners.
This dynamic role will define the marketing strategy and lead the execution of the plan with core alliance partners that underpins the go‑to‑market strategies, including creation of joint value propositions, content strategies, awareness, events, and demand generation initiatives that accelerate SailPoint’s global growth. A deep understanding of both companies’ product positioning and messaging, target markets, and go‑to‑market strategies is critical. You will also support the Technology Alliance Program (TAP) to ensure the broader ecosystem is represented in SailPoint initiatives and support the program‑level go‑to‑market strategy for these alliances.
To be successful, you must possess strong demand generation and product marketing expertise with strategic partners, be action‑oriented, and have experience driving co‑marketing initiatives with technology partners—ideally with a track record of defining and co‑marketing platform‑based SaaS solutions. A strong relationship builder who can cultivate a vibrant culture, understand the partner ecosystem, enterprise demand generation, and lead cross‑functional marketing teams is essential.
Thrive in an innovative environment by leveraging AI tools to streamline content execution and conduct research, complemented with a data‑driven mindset to optimize impact. Key stakeholder management outside of marketing—including Business Development, Product, and Partner Sales—is imperative.
- Develop the joint global marketing strategy with Strategic Technology Alliances that underpins each alliance’s go‑to‑market plan.
- Craft compelling value propositions, messaging, and positioning that address buyer needs and encourage adoption of joint solutions built on the SailPoint platform.
- Own the strategy and creation of joint alliance market‑facing and internal enablement content that differentiates SailPoint in the market, leveraging traditional channel and system integrator partnerships for tri‑party channels.
- Develop joint marketing campaigns (content, thought leadership, demand activations) with each alliance, targeting key industries and markets to generate sales opportunities and pipeline.
- Collaborate with SailPoint Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Events, Campaigns, PR, and AR to develop scalable marketing initiatives that drive awareness and demand.
- Act as an evangelist to market influencers, industry analysts, prospects, and customers at trade shows, industry events, and conferences.
- 5+ years of experience on high‑performing marketing teams, working with Strategic Alliance Partners and optimizing vendor marketplaces.
- Product Marketing experience and the ability to establish unique positioning and content for joint solutions with strategic alliances.
- Ability to establish partnership marketing strategy, encompassing value proposition creation, communications, use‑case identification, targeting, and content that drive integrated joint demand generation globally.
- Self‑starter with a proven record of taking projects from concept to execution under multiple deadlines.
- AI‑savvy, able to scale, automate, and multi‑task a variety of critical priorities and stakeholders across several strategic partners.
- Experience influencing and working across cross‑functional teams, managing peer‑to‑peer relationships with strategic partners.
- Strong project/program management skills, with a proven record of managing end‑to‑end development of strategic campaigns and initiatives.
- Comfortable with a global scope, understanding local nuances while driving strategic priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Enterprise security software/SaaS experience and marketplace experience.
