As an Outpatient Cancer Center Treatment Registered Nurse you will be joining a team that strives to provide the very best patient care and compassionate customer service to every person they interact with. They also support one another and make it their motto to “care like family”.
In this role:
- You will function as an integral member of the radiation oncology team.
- You will provide patient care and supportive services that are directed towards achievement of patient care outcomes through the integrated skills of all team members in the department.
- You will be responsible for assessing and providing the appropriate nursing intervention for the actual and potential problems that the patient and family may experience related to the disease process, treatment course, and follow-up period.
- You will teach, counsel, and provide support functions needed to assist the patient and family to cope with and adjust to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
- RN license in good standing.
- RN experience and passion to help patients through this challenging part of their lives.
