- Must have : ACLS, BLS, PALS(Ideal if they have TNCC, NRP, ENPC)
- Advanced skills needed:
Ultrasound IVs (preferred, not required) - EKGs
- breathing TX
- digit blocks
- knowledge of chest tube
- central line
- LP set up
- Administration of TNK
- Peripheral IV insertion
- ultrasound-guided IV insertion
- IO insertion management
- central line dressing changes
- blood/urine specimen collection
- blood culture collection
- End tidal CO2 monitoring
- 12 lead ECG acquisition
- defibrillation
- synchronized cardioversion (assisting)
- Transcutaneous pacing (assisting)
- Belmont rapid infuser operation
- MTP implementation
- Splint application
- hemorrhage control
- tourniquet application
- wound irradiation
- IV medication administration
- blood product administration
- procedural sedation monitoring
- medication titration
- Broselow/Panda system utilization
- peds IV insertion
- foley cath insertion
- straight cath insertion
- etc.
