Manufacturing Quality Coordinator II - Document Control Specialist

Position Overview

Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Quality Coordinator (Document Control) at our manufacturing facility in Provo, Utah.

• Ensure quality expectations including employee safety, food safety, sanitation, and quality systems.
• Create and maintain documents and records relating to the quality system (specifications, Master Manufacturing Records, change control, deviations, material disposition forms).
• Collect and review supplier approval documents.
• Assist with internal audits.
• Verify and monitor finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications.
• Assist in inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance with specifications.
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications.
• Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
• Maintain qualifications to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality to meet customer, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

• Associate's Degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• 3 or more years of QA/Document Control experience in the food and/or dietary supplement industry.
• Experience in a food grade facility.
• Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
• Skilled using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Hourly pay starting at $25.50+, subject to experience and certifications.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Warehouse positions pay each week.
