Position Overview
Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Quality Coordinator (Document Control) at our manufacturing facility in Provo, Utah.
Responsibilities- Ensure quality expectations including employee safety, food safety, sanitation, and quality systems.
- Create and maintain documents and records relating to the quality system (specifications, Master Manufacturing Records, change control, deviations, material disposition forms).
- Collect and review supplier approval documents.
- Assist with internal audits.
- Verify and monitor finished packaging codes as it relates to specifications.
- Assist in inspecting product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants such as stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc., prior to packaging in accordance with specifications.
- Perform timely checks to meet specifications.
- Provide supervisors/managers with proper quality documentation as required.
- Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
- Maintain qualifications to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
- Ensure product quality to meet customer, state, and federal guidelines.
- Other duties as required or assigned.
- Associate's Degree preferred; high school diploma required.
- 3 or more years of QA/Document Control experience in the food and/or dietary supplement industry.
- Experience in a food grade facility.
- Experience with GMPs, FDA, USDA, etc.
- Skilled using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Hourly pay starting at $25.50+, subject to experience and certifications.
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. - Warehouse positions pay each week.
