Manufacturing Quality Coordinator II - Document Control Specialist

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Quality Coordinator (Document Control) at our manufacturing facility in Provo, Utah.

Pay
: $25.50+ per hour, depending on experience and certifications.

Schedule
:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Location
:
Provo, Utah.

• Minimum 3 years of quality assurance experience with document control in a food manufacturing facility.
• Experience in food grade facility; knowledge of GMPs, FDA, USDA regulations.
• Skilled with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Associate’s degree preferred; high school diploma required.

• Create and maintain documents and records relating to the quality system (specifications, Master Manufacturing Records, change control, deviations, material disposition forms).
• Collect and review supplier approval documents.
• Assist with internal audits.
• Verify and monitor relevant finished packaging codes as they relate to specifications.
• Inspect product for quality issues and remove defects/contaminants (stones, wood, glass, plastic, etc.) prior to packaging in accordance with specifications.
• Perform timely checks to meet specifications.
• Provide supervisors and managers with proper quality documentation as required.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
• Maintain qualification to meet all standards required by FDA, USDA, etc.
• Ensure product quality meets customer, state, and federal guidelines.
• Other duties as required or assigned.
