JOB TITLE: Real Estate Intern
JOB LOCATION: Orem, UT
JOB TYPE: Internship (Part-Time or Full-Time)
REPORT TO: Real Estate Manager
JOB OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Intern to support the company's real estate operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in property research, document management, due diligence, and real estate project support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in maintaining company real estate files, standards, and documentation.
Support portfolio management activities through data entry, research, and document tracking.
Help with due diligence tasks such as gathering documents, reviewing basic property information, and organizing reports.
Assist with lease file reviews, tracking critical dates, and maintaining lease-related records.
Provide administrative and research support for various strategic real estate projects.
Conduct basic market and property research and prepare summary reports.
Collaborate with internal teams and assist external consultants by providing requested information.
Support compliance and entitlement-related tasks, including gathering zoning information and helping prepare application materials.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Willingness to learn real estate regulations and industry’s best practices.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Interest in real estate, property management, development, or related fields.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
No previous experience required; prior internship or coursework in real estate is a plus.
Basic understanding of real estate concepts preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment.
Some local travel may be required for site visits (as assigned).
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly rate based on experience and academic progress.
Cell phone stipend $30 per month.
Access to a company vehicle for approved business travel (if required).
