Position Announcement
The Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) will support a research project focused on SPARK (Sharing Practical ABA Resources and Knowledge), an initiative aimed at developing and evaluating family-friendly behavioral intervention resources for individuals with autism. The position will involve assisting with research activities related to caregiver training interventions, including development of training materials, video modeling modules, and evaluation of behavioral outcomes. The position requires approximately 10 hours per week and continuation of the position beyond the initial appointment period is contingent upon the availability of grant funding.
GRA will be supervised by Dr. Patrick Mallory, Assistant Professor of ABA and Program Director for the M.Ed in ABA program.
- Assist with development of training materials, including family guides, checklists, and infographics
- Support creation of video modeling and instructional materials
- Conduct literature reviews related to autism intervention and applied behavior analysis
- Assist with data collection, entry, and organization
- Support behavioral coding and data analysis
- Assist with participant recruitment and research coordination
- Contribute to preparation of conference presentations and research manuscripts
- Current graduate student in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or a related field
- Interest in autism intervention and applied behavior analysis
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
- Coursework or experience in Applied Behavior Analysis
- Experience with research methods or behavioral data collection
- Interest or experience in developing educational materials or multimedia content
- Experience with data analysis software or other research tools
