An unrivalled base for exhilarating expeditions and fireside connection, the camp has its own restaurant, lounge and spa suites.
The Role As part of the Food & Beverage team, you will play a critical role in delivering an exceptional bar experience aligned with Aman’s philosophy of understated luxury and intuitive service. As Lead Bartender, you will be the guiding presence for the Bar Team, ensuring the highest standards of beverage quality, service excellence, and operational efficiency.
You will lead by example, elevating the guest experience while maintaining seamless bar operations, cleanliness, and compliance with all company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead bar shifts, directing and supporting bartenders and barbacks to ensure smooth service
Deliver exceptional, personalized guest service with expert beverage knowledge
Ensure compliance with all alcohol service regulations and company standards
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all bar areas
Oversee bar setup, breakdown, and proper stocking of supplies and beverages
Manage inventory, requisitions, and communicate shortages effectively
Support and contribute to beverage menu development and innovation
Train, coach, and develop team members while fostering a positive culture
Assist with FOH operations, food service, and special events as needed
Maintain health, safety, and DOH standards while reporting any concerns Requirements
• Previous experience in a luxury food & beverage or bar environment; leadership experience preferred
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beerTIPS and Serv Safe certifications required
Experience with POS systems such as Micros, Seven Rooms, and Opera preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure with professionalism
Positive, engaging, and team-oriented mindset
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 45 lbs Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying environments
