Position Summary
Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a talented part‑time Assistant Bread Baker. We seek an individual passionate about food quality, customer service, and community.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team that offers an artisan menu of sweet and seasonal breads baked with whole ingredients.
Key Responsibilities- Follow recipes and produce one‑of‑a‑kind breads while paying close attention to detail.
- Lift large amounts of dough, flour, and supplies weighing 50 lb. or more; stand, lift, and mix daily.
- Work a flexible schedule: afternoons/nights, 11 am–7 pm;
Sundays and holiday seasons may include overnight shifts.
- Large‑scale baking/pastry experience preferred (but not required).
- Attention to compliance with local, state, and federal food handler and sanitation regulations.
- Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Morning/daytime availability required.
- Full or part‑time positions available.
