About the Role
As a Sales Advisor, you will provide excellent customer service by welcoming and guiding customers through the store, sharing fashion trends, supporting them with product knowledge, and promoting the H&M brand and its sustainability initiatives. You will also contribute to garment presentation, store upkeep, and collaborative teamwork to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities Customer Sales & Profit- Provide excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through the store and the OMNI experience where available.
- Engage in conversations with customers to provide excellent service.
- Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products across all areas of the store.
- Effectively promote and sell H&M products to customers.
- Actively promote the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in‑store sustainability initiatives.
- Represent yourself and the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions.
- Support commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team.
- Stay current with fashion trends, styles, brands, and competitors.
- Use product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers.
- Retain and share service, fashion, and store operations knowledge with colleagues.
- Follow all procedures, routines, and legal requirements across the store.
- Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop, and support each other.
- Participate in onboarding, introduction processes, and relevant training and courses for your role and future development.
- Complete the full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming, ensuring good garment care.
- Operate fitting rooms and checkout areas in accordance with best practices and processes.
- Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back‑of‑house, including stockrooms.
- Support garment presentation, execution, and maintain attractive merchandise displays that reflect visual and commercial guidelines.
- Maintain good stock levels through replenishment routines on the sales floor.
- Follow best practices for in‑store OMNI services and technology tools (e.g., Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store).
- Support opening and closing of the store.
- Follow all H&S guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role.
- Passionate about fashion and dedicated to providing a great in‑store experience.
- Communicative, creative, curious, and motivated.
- Flexible, decisive, and action‑oriented.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
- Possess sales experience in a dynamic retail or service‑related industry.
- Experience in customer service within fashion, retail, or related fields.
- Job Status:
Hourly, Non‑Exempt - EEOC Code: SLS
- Compensation: $15.00 per hour
