Position: Sales Manager (Part Time)

Part‑Time Sales Manager

As a Part Time Sales Manager, you will be the face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You’ll greet new parents and grandparents, introduce them to our baby essentials, and help prepare families for each new milestone in their child‑raising journey. Your role blends customer service, sales, and team leadership in a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Become a product and brand expert for Carter’s, Osh Kosh B’gosh, Skip
    * Hop, and Little Planet to help families navigate moments from preemie to size 14.
  • Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
  • Maintain a genuine customer focus, foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
  • Model service standards and the omni‑channel experience while coaching others to success.
  • Lead and execute a assigned business focus area through planning and detailed follow‑through.
  • Serve as Lead on Duty, supervising and responding to customer concerns in a timely, appropriate manner.
  • Use customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and implement actions that drive results.
  • Build customer loyalty through company‑sponsored programs, including credit promotion.
  • Offer consistent, in‑the‑moment feedback to store team and raise performance concerns to the Store Manager.
  • Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation.
  • Support store team with asset protection, maintaining customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Positive, solutions‑oriented mindset.
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, web navigation).
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
Physical & Availability Requirements
  • Lift up to 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Stand or walk for extended periods; climb up and down a ladder.
  • Provide availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
