MAC Beauty Advisor - Part Time - Summit

The Beauty Advisor drives sales and delivers a positive customer experience by providing excellent service through building client relationships, performing product applications, and offering customized recommendations. This role has a genuine enthusiasm for the beauty and fragrance industry, competitive drive, and confidence to excel in a fast‑paced commission environment.

• Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and initiative in achieving store objectives and key metrics.
• Create memorable store experiences by building genuine relationships with team members, vendors, customers, and the community.
• Build customer loyalty through personalized consultations, use of clienteling tools, and product recommendations tailored to client needs.
• Execute promotions, special events, and customer outreach to drive performance and sales.
• Utilize selling tools and digital devices to provide customers with a seamless omnichannel experience, accurately describing inventory, assortment, and product details.
• Leverage training, brand resources, and feedback to continually build product knowledge, suggestive selling skills, artistry abilities, and expertise in current industry trends.
• Encourage repeat client interactions by serving as a knowledgeable and trusted resource.
• Merchandise, replenish, and maintain visual merchandising, sign‑age, and beauty hygiene standards in line with vendor and company directives.
• Contribute to a positive store culture by connecting with teammates, sharing knowledge, and celebrating achievements.
• Adapt and remain flexible in response to changing circumstances.
• Support selling and store operations by assisting with additional tasks as assigned.
• Support fulfillment and asset protection initiatives by executing omnichannel and operational processes, protecting product standards, and following safety guidelines.

• Self‑directed, capable of working with minimal supervision in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable with technology, including smartphones, tablets, and Windows‑based operating systems.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must regularly move throughout store areas and be physically able to lift, carry, or move at least 40 lbs.
• Comfortable assisting customers with makeup application and skincare services.
• Must hold all required professional licenses and certifications, such as state‑specific demonstrator or cosmetology licenses.
