Responsibilities
  • Fully manage the dealership lot:
    Organize, present, and maintain the inventory in a clean and professional manner.
  • Actively sell vehicles:
    Greet customers, build relationships, understand their needs, and lead them through the sales process to closing deals.
  • Handle all required paperwork:
    Accurately complete sales contracts, financing paperwork, DMV/title work, and ensure compliance with dealership policies.
  • Manage and improve lot operations:
    Oversee the arrangement and presentation of vehicles, signage, and customer areas to maximize appeal and drive sales.
  • Directly report to the dealership owner:
    Communicate daily activities, sales updates, customer feedback, and inventory needs directly to ownership.
  • Assist with purchasing and sourcing vehicles:
    Help identify vehicle inventory needs and assist in locating/buying new stock when necessary.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies:
    Actively participate in planning promotions, advertising ideas, and strategies to increase dealership visibility and sales.
  • Provide excellent customer service:
    Ensure all customers have a positive, respectful, and professional experience from first contact through post-sale follow-up.
  • Maintain detailed records:
    Track leads, customer interactions, sales performance, and lot management activities.
  • Promote a positive image of the dealership:
    Represent the business with integrity, professionalism, and enthusiasm at all times.
Qualifications

    Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven car sales experience — experience in a dealership environment is highly preferred.
  • Positive and energetic personality — ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
  • Highly responsible, reliable, and organized — must be able to manage the lot and customer interactions independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — confident speaking with customers and closing deals.
  • Very neat, professional appearance is required — must present a polished and professional image at all times.
  • Non-smoker preferred — maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for customers.
  • Preferably under 40 years old — energetic and ready to grow with the dealership (age preference for business culture fit, but open to all qualified applicants).
  • Strong attention to detail — ensuring paperwork, vehicle presentation, and customer service are handled with care and precision.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven — eager to maximize monthly sales and develop the dealership operations.
  • Ability to work directly with ownership — proactive communication, reporting, and collaboration with the dealership owner.
  • Problem-solving skills — ability to handle customer issues, lot management tasks, and day-to-day challenges professionally.

  • Physical Requirements:

    Must be able to walk, stand, and move vehicles around the lot as needed. Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions.
