Job Description
At The Southard Agencies, we are rapidly growing and seeking qualified candidates to fill several openings in our office. We are looking for individuals who aspire to leadership, possess strong communication skills, and can contribute to our expansion. Candidates should be quick learners with strong negotiating skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to adapt and adjust quickly when necessary. The role involves giving presentations, attending weekly training events, and helping with professional development.
Objectivesof this Role
- Represent our products and services, starting with a deep understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
- Meet weekly, monthly, and annual objectives through successful implementation of our sales and marketing strategies and systems
- Build relationships, planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and new clients
- Develop and implement territory action plans through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identify potential new sales opportunities
- Identify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business in all service categories offered
- Prepare professional and accurate reports and documentation as required for field presentations
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or retail (preferred but not required)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem‑solving, presentation, and organizational skills
- Personal integrity
- Motivated, coachable, hard‑working, and passionate about helping people
- Ability to travel as necessary (Taylorsville, UT office minimum once a week)
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass a background check
Job Types: Contract, Permanent, Full‑time
Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 per year
