We Are HiringThree Regional Sales Managers will lead business development and manage key accounts across California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, and New Mexico. This role is field‑based and involves regular regional travel.
Territory: California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico
Salary range: $70,000 to $90,000
Commission: Up to $40,000 annually based on performance
SummaryThe Regional Sales Manager is responsible for establishing, growing, and maintaining a strong presence within the assigned Sales Region. The role requires building and sustaining customer relationships that drive sales, achieving and exceeding assigned quota and key performance indicators.
Primary Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet corporate goals
- Lead sales forecasting activities and set performance goals accordingly
- Review market analyses to determine customer needs
- Coordinate sales distribution of territories, quotas, and goals, and direct channel development activity
- Advise reps, dealers, distributors, and clients on sales and advertising techniques
- Analyze sales statistics to support dealers in promoting sales
- Represent the company at trade shows to promote products
- Deliver sales presentations to key clients
- Provide effective sales and technical training to customers and manufacturing rep partners
- Meet with clients to maintain relationships, negotiate, and close deals
- Analyze and control channel expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
- Participate in product research and supply the company with new product ideas and features
- Monitor and evaluate competitors’ activities and products, providing competitive intelligence
- Manage and direct the company’s independent rep organization to achieve company goals
- Complete project‑based assignments as requested
- 5 to 7 years of sales experience in channel sales management (rep groups, distributors, accounts) within the gate and door operator installation space
- Experience working with large national distributors and dealers
- Preferred: access control experience
- Intermediate to advanced sales reporting experience using CRM (e.g., ) and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Net Suite or another ERP system is a plus
- Flexible and adaptable, adjusting to changing priorities in a fast‑growth, dynamic environment
- Interest in consumer electronic products and technical training to represent products effectively
- Demonstrated sales skills and ability to formulate growth strategies
- Logical reasoning to identify solutions to problems
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, commissions, and sales multipliers from the company price sheet
- Knowledge of the end‑to‑end sales process and effective use of systems and tools for efficiency
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines, including weekly/monthly sales reports and expense reporting
- Energetic, dynamic, enthusiastic personality

- Proven ability to set priorities and establish department/user goals for staff and personal work
- Computer literacy required; intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Ability to meet budget submission deadlines
