National Sales Manager – Stainless Drains
The National Sales Manager (NSM) leads and manages the sales strategy across all regions within the country. The role involves developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, expanding the customer base, and ensuring strong brand presence. This position requires up to 75% travel.
Key AccountabilitiesSales Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement sales plans in alignment with company goals.
- Contribute to annual quota setting, territory planning, and account targeting.
- Lead and coach sales reps; support development through training, mentoring, and strategic guidance.
- Maintain full ownership of sales executives across the product line.
- Collaborate with product management and marketing to align sales initiatives to business goals.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture relationships with key customers, distributors, and contractors.
- Analyze customer segments by product line and identify growth opportunities.
- Track market trends, vertical applications, and competitive positioning.
- Manage pricing agreements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
Sales Rep Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with sales reps aligned with the product line.
- Establish and manage project funnels with designated owners.
- Lead bi‑weekly funnel update calls and coordinate sales forecasting with reps.
- Collaborate with reps to set annual targets, develop account ownership plans, and build growth strategies.
Sales Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor performance against targets and identify trends in funnel and forecast activity.
- Ensure consistent updates on sales activity, customer follow‑ups, and project management using DCRM.
- Analyze sales data to identify patterns, gaps, and growth opportunities.
- Forecast revenue and adjust strategies based on market conditions.
- Provide regular reporting: weekly updates, bi‑weekly funnel reviews, monthly territory performance, and annual strategy planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales with progressive leadership in regional or territory roles within plumbing and drainage industry.
- Track record of exceeding sales quotas and managing large geographic territories.
- Experience working with plumbing engineers, contractors, and manufacturer sales representatives.
- Base Salary Range: $112,900 – $155,238 (dependent on skills, experience, etc.).
