A fast-growing, privately held manufacturer is hiring a National Business Development Manager to drive distributor and retail growth across the United States. Backed by a European market leader, the company recently launched domestic manufacturing and is positioned as the first US-based mass producer in a rapidly growing category of decorative and acoustic wall panels.
In this role, the National Business Development Manager will focus on building a national distribution network, landing key partnerships, and educating the market on a high-performance product with strong early traction in big box retail. This is a field-based, highly autonomous role that blends strategic hunting with tactical, in-market execution.
To be considered, you must have experience managing full-cycle B2B sales and a track record of success in distribution-driven sales environments. The role involves multi-touch consultative sales, distributor relationship development, and end-to-end pipeline ownership.
Growth: European business with six years of category leadership;
North American division launched in 2025 with domestic production and placements in major US retailers.
Clients: Already working with Lowe’s, Home Depot, and Costco; expanding into distributor markets with high white space across North America.
Compensation and Benefits:
- OTE: $250K–$300K in Year 1
- Uncapped commissions with six-figure deal potential

The Right Background:
Must Haves:
- Full-cycle B2B sales experience in a distributor or product-based environment
- Experience managing 90–120 day sales cycles with large deal sizes ($500K–$1M+)
- Strong CRM discipline (Salesforce preferred)
- Comfortable educating buyers on technical products and acoustic performance metrics
- Ability to travel and operate independently in a field-based role
Nice-to-Have Experience:
- Experience selling to flooring, building materials, home improvement, or architectural distributors
- Experience working with big box retail or in a joint retail-distributor channel model
- Exposure to construction, interior design, or building systems sales
- Background in launching or scaling new sales categories or products
Location:
Remote – Anywhere in the US with proximity to a major airport. Travel required.
