Farmworker​/Nursery Worker; Temporary

Position Summary

Temporary seasonal Farm worker/Nursery Worker (5 positions) in Orem, Utah.

• Hourly wage: $12.48/hr (meets or exceeds prevailing wage).
• Part‑time: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm.

• Plant, grow, and harvest produce and bedding plants.
• Control weeds and manage irrigation.
• Move plants from greenhouses to carts.
• Water and plant seedlings.
• Perform bending and lifting (up to 50 lbs) throughout the workday.

• No prior experience required.
• Must provide employment eligibility documentation (I9 verification) upon hiring.
• Up to two references for past nursery or crop‑harvesting experience are required.

• Tools, supplies, and equipment provided at no cost.
• Room, board, and kitchen facilities furnished at no cost.
• Workers’ Compensation coverage covered by the employer.
• Free transportation from employer housing to the work site; additional transportation benefits are available as described.
• Minimum employment duration: at least 75% of the contracted period; upon completion of 50% of the contract, transportation and subsistence reimbursement applies.

This temporary position is associated with a future H‑2A labor certification application.
