Lead Solar Installer - Foreman

Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Solar Installer - Foreman to join our team! Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lead Solar Installer.

This position is located in Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands and are you able to reliably commute or relocate to our location? (Relocation assistance provided).

• Lead installation crews and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Schedule and manage installation timelines.
• Conduct site assessments and prepare job sites.

• Assign tasks and provide training to team members.
• Monitor and evaluate team performance.

• Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety briefings.
• Ensure installations meet all codes and regulations.

• Inspect installations for quality and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain detailed records of installations and inspections.

• Serve as the on-site contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing updates.

• Maintain inventory and document project progress.
• Assist in procuring necessary materials.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.

• 2 years in solar PV installation; supervisory experience preferred.
• Journeymen electrician licensed preferred.

• Leadership and team management.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• NABCEP certification preferred.
• OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

• Work in various weather conditions.
• Comfortable with heights and physically able to lift heavy equipment.
• Flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
