Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Job Coach to support individuals with disabilities in achieving independence through meaningful employment. The Job Coach will work closely with individuals to provide on-the-job training, and ensure workplace success. This role requires patience, empathy, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will also advocate for individuals while empowering them to advocate for themselves.

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid Utah driver's license
  • Ability to pass a full criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
  • Clean driving record for the last 3 years
  • Associate’s Degree preferred (not required)
  • Must complete Workplace Supports Training (paid training provided)
  • Opportunity to become ACRE Certified and trained as an Employment Specialist after 90 days (company‑paid training)
Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site job coaching and training to help individuals learn job tasks and meet workplace expectations.
  • Support individuals with workplace etiquette, communication strategies, time management, and social interactions.
  • Work with individuals, employers, to ensure a smooth transition and gradual reduction of job coaching support.
  • Advocate for reasonable workplace accommodations to meet individual needs.
  • Monitor and provide ongoing support to ensure sustained employment and address any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate daily documentation.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must pass a drug screening
  • Must pass a criminal background check
  • Must be able and willing to lift over 50 lbs
