Ai Automation Chatbot Engineer

We are looking for a skilled AI Automation and Chatbot Engineer to design, build, and maintain intelligent conversational bots across client-facing projects. The project has a distinct tech stack and business purposes; you will own the full lifecycle: strategy, build, integration, and ongoing optimization. This is not a template-click role. You need to be able to go deep when the platform hits its ceiling and build a custom solution when needed.

This position is remote in Mexico.

• Deploy and configure GHL Conversation AI trained on brand content
• Build multi-step GHL Workflows triggered by bot interactions
• Set up lead qualification, routing, and follow-up automations
• Embed bot on Word Press via widget or custom integration
• Connect forms and webhooks between Word Press and GHL
• Build a standalone AI bot using Voiceflow, Botpress, or a direct LLM API
• Deploy and embed cleanly on a Word Press site
• Set up lead capture, customer service flows, and action triggers
• Connect bot to backend via webhooks and REST APIs
• Design lightweight data routing without a native CRM

• Design conversation flows and bot logic that align with each brand’s voice, goals, and customer journey
• Integrate bots with third‑party tools via webhooks, REST APIs, and native platform connectors
• Set up and train bots on business‑specific content using RAG or knowledge base configuration
• Build and maintain automation workflows that trigger on bot interactions (lead capture, notifications, CRM updates, follow‑ups)
• Manage Go High Level Conversation AI, Workflows, and Pipeline actions for the GHL-based project
• Deploy a standalone LLM‑powered bot for the non‑GHL project using a suitable platform or direct API integration
• Embed bots correctly on Word Press sites with a clean UX and no performance impact
• Monitor bot performance, identify drop‑off points, and iterate on flows over time
• Document all builds clearly so internal teams can manage basic updates without you

• Proven experience building and deploying conversational AI bots that are live and in production (must‑have)
• Hands‑on Go High Level experience:
  Conversation AI, Workflows, Pipelines, and API (must‑have)
• Experience with at least one standalone bot platform:
  Voiceflow, Botpress, or equivalent (must‑have)
• Fluency with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar), including prompt engineering and RAG fundamentals (must‑have)
• REST API and webhook integration experience across multiple tools
• Word Press embed and integration experience (widgets, plugins, custom code)
• Ability to manage two parallel projects independently with clear communication
• Strong written communication (you’ll be working with brand‑specific voice guidelines)

• Experience with automation platforms: n8n, Make (Integromat), or Zapier
• Background in regulated or service industries (B2B, B2C)
• Familiarity with Airtable or lightweight CRM setups as a back‑end layer
• Basic JavaScript or Python for custom bot logic and API calls
• Experience with CRM hand‑off logic and lead lifecycle automation

• Must be fluent in English (C1+, written and spoken), since you’ll be working with and reporting to a US‑based company
• Must be comfortable with working PST business hours
• Remote‑based, option of part‑time/full‑time, or project‑based
• Compensation: $10 hourly
