Position Overview

Responsibilities- Vehicle Operation
- Safely operate company vehicles, including up to 26’ trucks, in compliance with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Deliver materials to customer project sites on time, providing excellent customer service.
- Additional training such as forklift operation or other specified equipment may be required.
- Possess a basic understanding and knowledge of forklift operations and related equipment.
- Delivery & Customer Service
- Unload materials at delivery locations and verify deliveries against packing slips.
- Ensure deliveries are handled professionally and courteously, always representing the company positively.
- Unload, protect, move, and stage materials as specified by customer directive.
- Have a basic understanding of building materials.
- Safety
- Adhere to all driving regulations based on state or jurisdiction policies, such as wearing a seat belt.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
- Use proper lifting techniques.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes, and clothing.
- Communication
- Attend and participate in all required meetings related to material delivery and overall company operations.
- Training Requirements
- Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
- Physical Job Requirements
- Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping, and manipulation.
- Frequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift, or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 lbs and climb ladders carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Pushing and pulling carts loaded across various distances and surfaces; some functions may be performed as a team.
- Learn to operate a forklift and other company vehicles and understand and use miscellaneous tools and equipment, including dollies, flat carts, and rock carts.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Possess a valid Class A or Class B CDL.
- Minimum 1‑year consistent commercial driving experience.
- Works well in a team environment.
