Truck and Pup, Side dump, Strong Arm, Haul and Dump Truck Drivers - Utah

Overview

We are seeking Truck and Pup, Strong Arm, Haul and Dump Truck Drivers in Utah County.

Hours include frequent nights, weekend work and early/late arrivals during the busy season. Overtime is available in summer.

Under the direction of the Trucking Foreman, Truck Drivers are responsible for safe driving, maintaining and cleaning assigned trucks, and performing daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.

• Perform driving assignments in accordance with company vision and core values.
• Maintain and clean assigned trucks, and perform daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections.
• Report any mechanical problems to the maintenance division.
• Obey all traffic laws and ensure compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
• Assist other employees and work with others as part of a construction crew team.
• Maintain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Card.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Must have a Class A or B CDL, current DOT Medical Card, and a clean, insurable driving record.
• Able to work well with others in a team environment and follow instructions.
• Able to move at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able and available to travel and work out of town when needed.

• Sitting: 80% of time

• Weight lifted:
  Must frequently be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. May occasionally lift items above head.
• Physical movement:
  May frequently be required to walk over uneven ground, balance, stoop/crouch, kneel, grab and hold objects, and climb a ladder on the truck several times a day.
• Speaking/Listening:
  Requires ability to communicate well with customers, dispatch, supervision, and understand safety requirements.
• Working conditions:
  
  90% of time will be spent working outside in the elements. Must be able to work long and irregular hours during the busy season.
