Part-Time Math Tutor

Part-time (4-12 hours a week) beginning August, 2026

Devon Rossler Tutoring is seeking to hire part-time tutors for the upcoming next school year. You would meet consistently with the same students each week in order to build relationships that support student learning and development. We’re looking for the right candidate that is friendly, trustworthy, responsible, and a knowledgeable educator.

• Experience teaching or tutoring
• A basic knowledge of the curriculum within your grade-level experience (grades 6-8 and/or 9-12)

• Successfully plan and teach engaging, effective tutoring sessions with students.
• Document each tutoring session to keep in communication about content covered the student’s progress.
• Be in communication with admin regarding scheduling, students' progress, milestones.
• Work collaboratively and closely with admin regarding scheduling, planning session content, students' progress, and milestones.

• Patience, building a good rapport with students and families, excellent communication skills
• Efficient, responsible, punctual, dependable, and hard-working
• Passionate about helping students grow and learn
• Open to receiving and implementing feedback

Hourly wage based on experience, qualifications, and fit ($30-$45).
