Job Title:
Legal Office Manager
Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000/year (based on experience)
Location:
Orinda, CA (primarily in-office with some hybrid flexibility)

A well-established law firm is seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Office Manager to lead daily operations and provide direct legal support in a dynamic office environment. This hybrid role blends leadership with hands-on legal administrative responsibilities and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Supervise and coordinate non-attorney staff; assist with hiring, onboarding, and team development.
- Provide direct legal secretarial support to 1-2 attorneys, including drafting, proofreading, and filing legal documents.
- Manage attorney calendars, travel arrangements, and expense reporting.
- Ensure timely administrative support and resource coordination across the office.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold firm policies and procedures.
- Serve as the office's Notary Public and manage general administrative tasks (supplies, mail, etc.).
- At least 5 years of office management experience, ideally in a legal or professional services setting.
- At least 5 years of experience as a legal secretary, preferably in estate planning or litigation.
- Must obtain a valid California Notary Public certification.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with legal document management systems (iManage preferred).
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion.
