Billing Coordinator

• Greet and engage patients with a welcoming attitude
• Accurately post patient and insurance payments and required adjustments
• Maintain accurate patient account notations and work AR reports routinely
• Ensure timely filing of claims and provide documentation requested by insurers
• Manage patient billing statements and the collections process as needed
• Review insurance denials and work accounts through to payment
• Reconcile the monthly bank deposit spreadsheet
• Maintain a clean, compliant, patient centered environment

• 1+ years of experience in medical or dental insurance or billing
• Strong understanding of CDT codes and EOBs for dental insurance
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and desire for professional growth
• Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
