Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mortgage Loan Officer based in Orland Park, IL. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for consulting with clients to understand their home financing needs, reviewing financial documents, recommending suitable loan programs, and guiding clients through the mortgage process. The position involves maintaining strong customer relationships, working closely with underwriting teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout each loan transaction.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Loan Officers, Mortgage Lending, and the Mortgage Industry
- Proficiency in Underwriting and a thorough understanding of mortgage products and processes
- Strong Customer Service skills, with an emphasis on building and maintaining client relationships
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site environment
- Knowledge of current regulations in the mortgage and financial services industry
- State licensing as a Mortgage Loan Officer or willingness to obtain it
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mortgage-related role
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
