The salary range for this position is $40.79–$55.07 per hour. Placement within the range depends on factors such as relevant experience and internal equity. For union positions, placement follows the collective bargaining agreement.

Description

• Performs MRI testing procedures and serves as the first line interface with patients.
• Performs high‑quality MRI testing per department policies.
• Obtains accurate patient screening and consent.
• Maintains quality monitors.
• Provides care appropriate to patient condition and age, including pediatric, geriatric, and general population.
• Follows all patient‑safety policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates flexibility, organization, and professionalism in stressful situations.
• Takes MRI calls according to the schedule and responds promptly when called in.
• Assists with orientation and training of new staff and interns.

Requirements

• Registered ARRT with MRI certification or ARMRIT.
• CPR – Basic Life Support.
• Physical demand: lift/carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 50 pounds.

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science degree.
• Two years of MRI experience.
• One year of Rad Tech experience.

Work schedule:

Part‑time, 40 hours per pay period, day shift, 8‑hour shifts, alternating start times between 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with every Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
