Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support Well Women's Health's clinical operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing vital patient care and administrative support in female patient care settings. The Medical Assistant will play a key role in ensuring efficient patient flow, accurate documentation, and high-quality care delivery.

• Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms
• Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in an office setting
• Support providers with clinical tasks such as medication administration, exams, and procedures
• Operate EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient information and medical records
• Assist with ICD coding and ensure proper documentation for billing and insurance purposes
• Conduct basic procedures, such as blood draw
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas while adhering to safety protocols
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions and ensuring comfort throughout visits

• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to outpatient care
• Experience working in Women's health is a plus
• Proficiency with EHR systems and ICD coding for accurate recordkeeping
• Ability to perform intake assessments, vital signs collection, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
• Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach

Pay: $23.60 - $28.42 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
