Pharmacy Technician
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking an experienced Infusion Pharmacy Technician to join one of our clients growing home infusion pharmacy team! This is a full-time, hands-on position supporting the preparation and coordination of infusion therapies for patients receiving treatment in the home setting in Orland Park, IL.
Candidates must have previous home infusion/infusion pharmacy experience, including experience working with IVIG therapies.
Details- Monday through Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM (Full-Time) No weekends!
- Prepare sterile compounded medications under pharmacist supervision
- Support IV and home infusion medication preparation
- Assist with IVIG and other specialty infusion therapies
- Label, package, and prepare medications and supplies for dispensing
- Follow proper aseptic technique and USP / standards
- Maintain a clean and compliant sterile compounding environment
- Assist with inventory, ordering & receiving
- Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
- Previous home infusion/ infusion pharmacy experience required!
- IVIG experience required
- Sterile IV compounding experience
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and USP standards
- PTCB/CPhT certification preferred
Compensation for this position ranges from $17.00 to $26.00.
