Are you a customer-oriented individual with barista experience? Darvin Furniture is on the lookout for a skilled Barista to help run our Specialty Coffee Shop. In your role as Barista of the Coffee Shop, you will oversee the opening and closing of the shop and collaborate with the Manager in all aspects of its operations.

Salary: $17.00 per hour plus tips.

As the Barista, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our esteemed customers in our Coffee Shop, providing exceptional customer service and assisting the Manager in all areas of the operation. You will play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations.

• Customer Engagement:
  As the point person, you will provide delicious coffee, beverages and other treats to our customers, letting them know they are “the best” customers in the furniture industry!
• Attendance and Punctuality:
  Maintain regular attendance and punctuality. Reliability is essential to this position.
• Team Support:
  Assist and fill in for coworkers.
• Operational Standards:
  Meet store operating policies and standards for quality beverages and food products, adhering to all sanitary standards, cash handling, and safety procedures.
• Inventory Management:
  Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock and ample flow of products.
• Health and Safety Compliance:
  Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Customer Inquiry Management:
  Handle customer inquiries, complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaboration with Management:
  Collaborate with the Manager to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
• Equipment Management:
  Responsible for the startup and breakdown of equipment and processes.
• Customer Service Excellence:
  Demonstrates customer service and hospitality standards by greeting and responding to all customers with fast, efficient, friendly, personalized and professional service.
• Customer Rapport:
  Develop rapport with our amazing customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items.
• Proactive Problem Solving:
  Anticipate and respond to potential customer service issues.
• Quality Control:
  Follow all company drink recipes and procedures, maintaining the highest quality and consistent product standards.

• Monday through Saturday from Open at 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, and Sundays from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm.
  You will work two or three of these days. Actual shift to be determined.

• Work experience in the food and/or hospitality industries in a lead or supervisory position. Coffee shop experience preferred.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Customer satisfaction oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
