Are you a customer-oriented individual with barista experience? Darvin Furniture is on the lookout for a skilled Assistant Manager to help run our Specialty Coffee Shop. In your role as Assistant Manager of the Coffee Shop, you will oversee the opening and closing of the shop and collaborate with the Manager in all aspects of its operations.

Salary: $18.00 per hour plus tips.

As the Coffee Shop Assistant Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our esteemed customers our Coffee Shop, providing exceptional customer service and assisting the Manager in all areas of the operation. You will play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations.

• Customer Engagement:
  Provide delicious coffee, beverages and other treats to our customers, letting them know they are the best customers in the furniture industry.
• Attendance and Punctuality:
  Maintain regular attendance and punctuality. Reliability is essential to this position.
• Team Support:
  Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary resources and training to perform their duties effectively.
• Operational Standards:
  Meet store operating policies and standards for quality beverages and food products, adhering to all sanitary standards, cash handling, and safety procedures.
• Inventory Management:
  Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock and ample flow of products.
• Health and Safety Compliance:
  Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and company policies.
• Customer Inquiry Management:
  Handle customer inquiries, complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaboration with Management:
  Collaborate with the Manager to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
• Equipment Management:
  Responsible for the startup and breakdown of equipment and processes.
• Customer Service Excellence:
  Demonstrate customer service and hospitality standards by greeting and responding to all customers with fast, efficient, friendly, personalized and professional service.
• Customer Rapport:
  Develop rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks and food items.
• Proactive Problem Solving:
  Anticipate and respond to potential customer service issues.
• Quality Control:
  Follow all company drink recipes and procedures, maintaining the highest quality and consistent product standards.

  Monday through Saturday from Open at 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, and Sundays from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm.

• Work experience in the food and/or hospitality industries in a lead or supervisory position. Coffee shop experience preferred.
• Basic PC knowledge.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Customer satisfaction oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
