Our client is a leading transportation and logistics company dedicated to providing efficient and reliable services to their clients. They are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team.

$24/hr - $26/hr

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for managing and processing invoices and ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely payment of all creditors. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.

• Review, verify, and enter invoices into the accounting system.
• Prepare and process electronic transfers, payments, and check runs.
• Reconcile vendor statements, research discrepancies, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Review and process employee expense reports in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate historical records by filing and organizing documents.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate accounts payable processing.
• Assist with month‑end close activities and prepare reports as needed.

• Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and percentages.

• Logistics or transportation industry experience.
• International currency exchange experience.

• High school diploma or GED.
