About the Staff Accountant Role
This Staff Accountant role provides hands-on experience across month-end close, accounts receivable, invoicing, and cash management within a profitable, expanding technology services company.

This position offers broad exposure rather than isolated tasks. The Staff Accountant will collaborate directly with the Controller, gain full-cycle accounting experience, and contribute visibly to supporting a $15M operating business.

Key Duties

• Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations

• Maintain accuracy of the general ledger, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations

• Prepare customer invoices and support accounts receivable collections

• Monitor AR aging, apply payments, and resolve billing issues

• Support sales tax filings, audits, and ad hoc accounting projects

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Approximately 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience, including month-end close and AR

• Solid understanding of GAAP and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP); experience with ERP systems required
