Staff Accountant

Overview

A client in the hospitality industry is looking to add a Staff Accountant to their fixed asset team. They will be responsible for accurately updating the schedule every month, processing payments, capital projects and assets, confirming the status of assets, and invoices. They are looking for someone who is very detail oriented for this position. The ideal candidate will work efficiently and value a positive team environment.

This position will be hybrid, 2 days in office for training the first 2 months, then fully remote, M-F working a 9-5 schedule.

• Accurately update the monthly schedule
• Process payments, capital projects and assets
• Confirm the status of assets and invoices
• Maintain attention to detail
• Work efficiently and contribute to a positive team environment

• BA in Accounting
• 1-3 years of experience in corporate accounting
• Lease accounting experience
• Fixed assets experience
• Proficient in Excel
• Oracle experience - experience within timeshares/hospitality
• Auditing experience
• People/communication skills
