Accountant, Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting

The Accountant is responsible for managing the full-cycle accounting for multiple clients. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with federal and state regulations, timely payroll processing, and strong coordination with internal teams and clients. The ideal candidate has experience in accounting and multi-entity environments.

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Perform monthly bank, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Produce monthly financial statements and management reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis
• Maintain inter-company transactions and reconciliations

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
• Assist with audits, workers’ compensation audits, and client inquiries
• Maintain documentation to support financial controls

• Work within clients and accounting systems (e.g. Quick Books, Net Suite, or similar)
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
• Support system implementations, upgrades, and integrations
• Maintain internal controls and best practices across entities

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in staffing or professional services
• Experience managing multiple legal entities
• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
