The Senior Accountant will support complex accounting areas while partnering cross-functionally across Finance, Operations, and other internal departments.

This Senior Accountant role is ideal for a technically strong accountant who enjoys research, analysis, and understanding the “why” behind accounting treatment.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant- Prepare and review monthly reconciliations, researching complex ledger accounts and documenting conclusions
- Create and record complex journal entries in accordance with US GAAP, with clear understanding of financial statement impact
- Analyze and interpret accounting data, providing recommendations on proper treatment of transactions including revenue recognition and service-related agreements
- Support lease accounting (ASC
842), insurance accounting, procurement-related accounting, and recurring entries - Participate in special projects and ad hoc reporting, including finance technology initiatives and process improvement efforts
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Marketing, and other internal partners
- May oversee the work of others, including assigning priorities, reviewing work product, and providing coaching (if applicable)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MBA or graduate degree a plus
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Public accounting experience preferred
- CPA license or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting concepts
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments, and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent problem-solving ability
