ETP is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable workflows while supporting financial accuracy, reporting, and team performance. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient accounting operations, monitoring financial processing, and ensuring billing, payments, reconciliations, and reporting are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities- As a Supervisor, Accounting, you will oversee accounting operations, supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable workflows, support reporting processes, and coach team members to maintain operational excellence.
- Accounts Receivable Oversight:
Monitor and review client billings, payment applications, billing workflows, aging reports, and collections activity to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of outstanding balances. - Credit & Customer Management:
Oversee customer credit applications, recommend credit limits and payment terms, and maintain customer files including insurance certificates and sales tax documentation. - Accounts Payable Oversight:
Audit invoices for coding accuracy, payment authorization, supporting documentation, and monitor accounts payable aging and purchase order activity for accuracy and completeness. - Vendor Management:
Maintain vendor files, oversee resale certificate issuance, manage invoice selection for payment, and support weekly payment processing activities. - Financial Reconciliation & Reporting:
Prepare month-end reconciliations and support financial tracking, recording, compilation, and reconciliation projects as assigned. - Discount & Payment Optimization:
Manage payable workflows to ensure vendor payment discounts are captured whenever possible. - Problem Resolution & Process Improvement:
Identify accounting issues related to receivables, payables, billing, and payment processing while recommending practical solutions and process improvements. - Team Leadership & Development:
Assist accounting leadership with training, coaching, performance management, employee development, and annual performance reviews. - Performance Management:
Help resolve employee performance concerns, maintain accountability, and support disciplinary processes when required.
- BS/AA degree in Accounting preferred
- 5 to 10 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions
- Prior supervisory experience with demonstrated success coaching and developing team members
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferred
- Strong judgment, decision-making, and analytical problem-solving abilities
- Strong financial acumen with understanding of billing, reconciliations, vendor management, and accounting operations
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong leadership mindset with a commitment to team development and accountability
