The Regional Student Accounts Officer manages payments, cash flow, and follows up with in-school and out-of-school accounts past due on a continuous basis.
Provides effective financial counseling and advice to prospective and current students. Prepares collections and financial reports. In addition to student ledger card adjustments and scholarship postings.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- At least two years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
- Willingness and ability to travel between campuses.
- Ability to work extended hours (which will include evenings and weekends), in order to meet business objectives.
- Track all student payment plans to ensure timely payment
- Handles all in and out of school collections, including referrals to the collection agency
- Prepares monthly billings and monitors A/R
- Process all invoices thru eRequester (as back up)
- Prepares all cash payer installment notes
- Handles all credit card transactions
- Provide weekly feedback/reporting of the department’s status to the Executive Director
- Make adjustments to student ledgers due to a change in enrollment status
