Solodev is looking for a full-time, highly talented bookkeeper to join their team! The perfect person for this position will coordinate all bookkeeping, analytical and financial aspects of Solodev. In this role, bookkeeper shows ownership of Quickbooks entries and assist our CPA with information needed to complete financial statements and prepare taxes.
Responsibilities- Produce monthly/quarterly financial statements utilizing Quick Books
- Maintain general ledger and journal entries
- Complete Ad hoc analysis and special projects
- Weekly accounts receivable & accounts payable
- Assist with cost comparison and filings
- Reconciliation of monthly bank statements and the monitoring of cash flows
- Develop and interpret detailed financial and operational spreadsheets to assist with operational and sales analysis
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred) or applicable fields (Project Management, Economics, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (Quickbooks)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong computer skills required including file and data management
- Aggressive and creative Bookkeeper that can bring ideas to the table
- Able to do research, mine and interpret data and apply prioritization and strategic thinking to reach informed decisions and share recommendations
- Exceptional attention to detail and process while understanding the big picture
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and effectively work under tight deadlines
- Team player, very detail oriented, self-motivated, and easygoing with strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Strong budget planning, organizational, communication and analytical skills
- A dynamic and resourceful creative thinker and problem solver able to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to assist with HR duties including assess insurance options, calculate and submit 401(k) contributions, and communicate HR updates to the team
- This position requires the candidate to work on-site in our Orlando office. Relocation assistance is not available
- HR experience is a plus
- Notary Public, State of Florida is a plus
