We invite you to join our team as an Accountant. In this role you will be accountable for the accounting operations of the company, including the production of financial reports, maintenance of accurate accounting records, and a comprehensive system of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Accounts Receivable functions, including invoicing, manual check application, aging reports, and account reconciliation.
- Enter routine journal entries and bank transactions.
- Enter AP bills and credit card transactions as needed.
- Perform month‑end closing and reconciliation.
- Reconcile, investigate, correct, and adjust accounting information.
- Perform bank reconciliation.
- Support department peers as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- 1–2 years of accrual‑basis accounting experience, including accounts receivable, journal entries, month‑end closing, and bank reconciliation.
- Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and manage projects.
- Detail‑oriented with excellent proofreading and editing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, organize priorities, and work independently.
- Exceptionally self‑motivated and directed.

The job is performed in a professional office environment. The employee will be largely sedentary, required to sit/stand, use a computer, telephone headset, and other office equipment. Occasional light lifting up to 40 pounds is expected.
