Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and clerical tasks to support the efficient operation of our finance department. Your primary duties will include processing both AP invoices, and reconciling accounts.

• Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions.
• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors on a daily basis.
• Manage vendor payments accurately to maintain good supplier relationships.
• Monitor banking transactions on a daily basis.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as accounting principles.
• Work closely with the operations team.
• Ensure all invoices are recorded correctly in Quickbooks.

• Understanding accounting best practices.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets and Excel.
• Produce work with a high level of accuracy.
• Knowledge of Quickbooks, or other applications.
• Experience in Media/Marketing billing is a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
• Agency Experience highly preferred.

• Periods sitting at a desk and monitoring computer (we have ergonomic sit stand desks).
