Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Manage collections activity, following up on outstanding balances while maintaining strong client relationships as the Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Post accounts receivable transactions and maintain accurate customer ledgers as the Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Process cash applications and reconcile account statements to ensure accuracy as the Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Respond to billing inquiries, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues as the Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Support the month-end close, reporting, and compliance with internal accounting controls as the Accounts Receivable Specialist
- 2-3 years of accounts receivable experience or similar accounting role
- Strong Excel skills with high attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently; construction industry exposure is a plus
