OUC - The Reliable One, is presently seeking a Accountant to join the Financial & Support Services division. At OUC, we don't just work - we're building a bright future of innovation and transformation for future generations.

We're looking for a detail‑driven accounting professional who enjoys owning key financial processes and contributing to a stable, supportive finance team. In this role, you'll manage essential parts of our month‑end close, including pre‑close activities and the first five days of the cycle, while maintaining accurate CAPEX and fixed‑asset records. You'll prepare reconciliations, research variances, manage work orders, and support ad‑hoc projects that keep our operations running smoothly.

You'll work independently while collaborating closely with Budget, HR, Benefits, Customer Service, and Operations.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA or MBA preferred

* 3+ years of accounting experience in a mid‑size organization (500-1,000+ employees); government or public accounting experience preferred

* Strong financial acumen with sharp attention to detail, strong problem‑solving skills, and hands‑on experience in general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed assets

* Advanced Excel skills and experience with enterprise accounting systems; familiarity with JD Edwards Enterprise One Fixed Assets or Lease Management and Hubble is a plus

* Strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams

* Analytical mindset with the ability to investigate variances and identify root causes

* Self‑motivated and able to work independently with consistent follow‑through

* Project management and organizational skills to manage deadlines and priorities

Salary Range: $65,600 - $82,000 annually - commensurate with experience
