DescriptionSummary:
The Credit Leisure will coordinate, prepare, and assist in the collection of all accounts receivable for all the Rosen Hotels & Resorts properties. They will handle systematic billing of all individuals and wholesalers accounts. They will handle all guest service requests while enforcing all credit policies and maintaining confidentiality on available information.
Responsibilities:
- Print, review, and balance daily direct bill reports.
- Take appropriate action by systematic billing of all wholesalers and individual accounts.
- Review and bill all trade‑out accounts daily adjusting totals at month end.
- Copy all wholesaler vouchers to be filed with appropriate wholesaler accounts.
- Maintain all FIT contracts in the Wholesaler Contract book.
- Maintain and update individual accounts every week.
- Research all short pays on a timely basis and maintain an accurate backup in the file.
- Rectify and correct erroneous information daily by submitting appropriate backups to the department head for approval along with backup.
- Advise lead and/or supervisor on a timely basis concerning any collection‑related problems and status on accounts past due.
- Bill out monthly statements when necessary.
- Follow all accounting procedures.
- Responsible for confidentiality in all areas of accounting.
- Handle all job affairs ethically and competently.
- Follow management policies including proper documentation, file maintenance, payment procedures, and rate structures.
- Have complete knowledge of Visual One.
- Prepare a status report on all accounts with open balances in the A/R aging report for the Credit Manager's review.
- Follow up with collection calls as necessary.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience/
Qualifications:
- 6+ months of related experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
