Key Responsibilities of the Bookkeeper
  • Perform full-cycle bookkeeping including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close
  • Maintain financial records across multiple business entities while ensuring accuracy and organization
  • Process and reconcile intercompany transactions
  • Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for leadership
  • Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and cash management activities
  • Maintain Quick Books and Excel-based financial reporting systems
  • Support executive leadership with scheduling, project coordination, and administrative priorities
  • Assist with financial activities related to real estate holdings, investments, and other business interests
  • Support charitable foundation and philanthropic accounting activities
  • Participate in process improvements and help streamline financial operations
Qualifications for the Senior Bookkeeper
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting experience required
  • Experience managing accounting for multiple entities strongly preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Experience with Quick Books or similar accounting software required
  • Experience supporting executives, business owners, or family office operations is a plus
  • Strong understanding of account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
