Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and cash-related entries as the Senior Accountant
Review and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper classification as the Senior Accountant
Maintain fixed asset schedules and perform reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting as the Senior Accountant
Assist with budget-to-actual variance analysis and provide insights to leadership as the Senior Accountant
Support internal and external audits and contribute to enhancing accounting processes, policies, and controls as the Senior Accountant

Qualifications for the Senior Accountant

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
3+ years of public accounting experience or 6+ years of general ledger accounting experience
CPA designation is a plus
Construction accounting or job costing experience preferred
