Pay: $34.00–$38.00/hour

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant
  • Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and cash-related entries as the Senior Accountant
  • Review and analyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper classification as the Senior Accountant
  • Maintain fixed asset schedules and perform reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting as the Senior Accountant
  • Assist with budget-to-actual variance analysis and provide insights to leadership as the Senior Accountant
  • Support internal and external audits and contribute to enhancing accounting processes, policies, and controls as the Senior Accountant
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of public accounting experience or 6+ years of general ledger accounting experience
  • CPA designation is a plus
  • Construction accounting or job costing experience preferred
